1. Who we are
Chinyama is a platform operated by Cabanga Africa (Pty) Ltd, registered in Botswana. Using this site means accepting these terms.
2. Introducer only, and nothing more
Chinyama is an introducer and coordinator. Chinyama does not own, buy, sell, move, feed, graze, grade, weigh, value or slaughter any animal, and does not handle, hold or transmit money on behalf of any party. Chinyama is not an agent, broker, auctioneer, dealer or trustee for either side, and is not a party to any sale arranged between users.
3. The sale is yours
Price, weighing, grading, inspection, transport, delivery, payment and the terms of the sale are agreed directly between the holder and the buyer. Any dispute arising from a sale is between those parties. Cabanga has no liability for the condition, ownership, health, provenance or fitness of any animal, or for any failure to pay or to deliver.
4. Permits and clearances
Permit and clearance guidance on this site is general information maintained by Chinyama. It is not legal or veterinary advice. Chinyama does not issue, procure, expedite or vouch for any permit, veterinary clearance, brand certificate, import permit or export certificate, and does not represent any user before any authority. Compliance with the law of every country and district on the route is the responsibility of the parties to the sale.
5. What you post
You confirm that you own the animals you list or are authorised to sell them, that what you post is accurate, and that you will tell us promptly when it stops being accurate. We may edit, decline or remove any listing or requirement at our discretion, particularly where it appears inaccurate, unlawful or a risk to another user.
6. No account, no guarantee of a match
There are no accounts on this site. Posting a listing or a requirement does not oblige Cabanga to make an introduction, and no introduction guarantees a sale.
7. Fees
Listing stock, posting a requirement, posting transport capacity and reading the board are free. Cabanga charges for qualified introductions and for optional services, including verification, sourcing, transport coordination and market-readiness work. Any fee is agreed in writing with the party concerned before the work begins. No fee is ever collected through this website.
7A. Use of marketplace data
Cabanga may use de-identified and aggregated marketplace activity to operate the platform, improve matching and analyse the market. Names, contact numbers and exact farm locations are operational data and are never sold or published as market information.
8. Availability
The site is provided as it stands. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption or that the board is complete or current at any given moment.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Botswana, and the courts of Botswana have jurisdiction.
